Default 01 warrior 350 NEW stator...weird problem..

01 warrior 350, it had no spark... I took the cover and stator off a bike just like it to test it.. Fired right up..so I ordered a new stator... I put the new stator in and it won't spark.... But I use a different stator and it sparks....only difference is the test stator I never took out of it's case..the new stator I had to replace in the case... Is there an adjustment or did it go in wrong? I put both stators in their cases side by side it looks identical...???????

Few possibilities. You might have gotten a bad new stator. How do u know the stator is the problem?

I have 2 same exact warrior 350's... ATV 1= not running and ATV2= running ...... to make it simple... ATV 1 had no spark.... so i swapped the CDI.. nothing.. Kill Switch... nothing.. Rectifier.. nothing.. New battery.. nothing... finally i took the stator and cover as a whole assembly off ATV 2 and put it on ATV 1 and it had bright spark and ran like a champ... to make sure, i put the stator from ATV 1 in ATV 2 ( which ran before ) and then it had no spark with that stator.. I LEFT ATV 1 RUNNING AND WAS GOING TO PUT A NEW STATOR IN ATV 2......so i ordered a new stator.. and i put the NEW stator in ATV 2 and NO spark.. so i took the new stator and took out and put the stator in ATV 1 ( which was now running with ATV 2's stator ) and NO spark... SO, in a nut shell the new stator went into 2 matching warrior 350's and neither had spark with that stator but had spark with another stator ...? did i miss a step installing the stator to the cover maybe?? cause the "running" stator was never removed from the cover.. i would swap that stator with the cover attached between bikes,..

Double check the connections on the stator, sounds like you could have gotten a bad one...

Does the new stator matches the old one perfect? Like the copper winding? is the copper wire the same size? does the mount have the same amount of bars[the bars that the copper is wound up around].? Sometimes there are different brand ignition systems! Like denso and misuba! you may want to research your to see if you have an denso flywheel and misuba stator! An mismatch would be out of time! Should be brand wrote on the side of flywheel, than count your bars on your old stator and count the bars on the new one to see if they match!
