I was looking at my "ATV Buyer's Guide" in ATV Sport magazine last night. Since there seems to be discussions all of the time about which quad has faster acceleration, etc. I thought these figures might be interesting to everyone. They printed aceleration times for various speeds for different quads that they tested over the year, the results were very interesting: (times are in seconds)

Quad 0-30mph 0-50mph
DS650 2.39 5.66
400ex 2.58 7.72
300ex 3.53 -- (won't go 50)
Scrambler
500 4x4 2.80 9.50
Scrambler
500 2x4 2.77 9.37
Scrambler
400 2x4 3.10 9.55
Trailblazer4.50 -- (Won't go 50)
Raptor 2.20 5.97
Mojave 250 7.40 -- (Won't go 50)

Thanks,
Lorrin Lee

Where is the Banshee?
I think that in a paved surface it would be the fastest. And if I am wrong, then, a piped banshee should get the job done !!!

Yes, they did.

4-Wheel ATV Action posted Drag and Top Speed times also.

The Raptor #'s do not match up with ones in a a previous issue.

Everything those ATV Sport magazine guys post is inconsistant, bogus crap! There are never any consistant standards. It all varies, all of the time. I don't place any worth in any of their results. It has gotten laughable, really.
