Well i found out this that the vito 400cc kit puts out 52 hp at the rear wheels, it cost 320 to get your sleeves done but its better worth it then that fmf powervalve thing that is WAY overpriced, hey visit my sig.

I have been looking around this for a little now, and you have to add 320$ for the sleeving for Vito's...which raises the price to 470+320=790$. That is 100$ more than the 420 Trinity (I don't know how much they charge for labor though).
Basically, the 404cc Vito is a piston kit + sleeving. Very simple if they do the sleeving.

Howdie,

No pun intended, but I want to know exactly why the FMF kit is not worth the money?

Here's my argument..............

The banhsee jugs are around $800 brand new???

By the time you sell your factory carbs, jugs, and head, you've cut quite a bit into the price of the FMF kit. I would feel much more secure running the beefier jugs and having more cooling capacity w/ out running a toomy radiator.

You're getting a standard 68mm bore w/ the FMF kit, all new jugs w/ more jackets for greater coolant effeciency........how hot would one of those resleeved 404 or 420 kits run? The FMF kit will take 93 octane pump gas as well. The powercurve is much more appealing to me too........but I'll be riding woods.

I'm hanging around on the FMF 400 kit to see if anyone can pull a LR off w/ this engine mod. I would'nt mind a 370LR, but when "I" look at the big picture, I see the FMF kit being at least equal, if not superior to other similar kits available on the market.

Everyone has their own opinions though,

Lets hear what you fellows think,

EC

Forgot to add that with the FMF kit you also need to add 35mm PWK carbs with EEK needles...Had a buddy who has installed this kit and it is nice however it ended up costing him around $2400 total and he still gets beat by ported 350 shees..
