Do you feel it is possible to get a new blaster "out the door" for $3200? I live in MD and the two dealers I stopped at seem to think I am crazy for even suggesting this, am I ???

Well, with freight, setup, taxes and such it shouldnt be much more than 3200. I wouldnt do it for anymore than 3500 but shop around and see who will give you the best deal.

Just tell the dealer if he cant get it to you for 3200 you will take your business else where, then look at others and see what they offer you.

If you *can* get the deal then you can come back and rub it in his face

My dealer usually knocks a couple hundred off sticker price. Then ofcourse you have tax too. He throws out the freight and setup charge for us. Then again we've bought 5 quads from him now too. Still I think he should give you retail price.....If not shop around.

You can try to get a deal, but most dealerships dont negotiate unless you know them or buy a lot of stuff from them. They figure the demand is always so high they can easily sell it for retail to someone else.

I called up one of the local yamaha shops one day a couple months ago, said "I have cash in hand and want to buy a blaster" "I was up there and checked it out, what is the bottom dollar you will sell it for" he said $2,800 plus tax. I was going to buy it but only had $2,500 in hand and couldnt come up with the extra $300 and couple hundred for tax...

But then again, I went to the other local yammy dealer and asked how much for the blaster, they said $2,600, so I went and got the money, came back and asked how much and they said "$2,900" ruined my day...

Anyways shop around, you might be able to get a like new used one for a heck of alot less, I paid $1,500 for my 00 and its mint..

P.S. Cash talks, if they know you have the money then they will be more than willing to work something out...
