Hello, I have a 2005 Kodiak 450 that I want to use for snow plowing. Purchased a front mount Warn Pro Vantage plow system and a 3000lb Viper winch. Went to install but looks like the winch is to large and won't fit in between the front mount.

Anyone have this setup? Am I doing something wrong?

Called MotoAlliance and they recommended the Elite Snow winch that is made specifically for plowing. Since that's what it will mainly be used for I made the exchange.

Received the Elite, got it mounted and wired up without issues. It fit perfectly between the Warn plow's front mount. I'm sure their other winches would have worked as long as the model winch you choose doesn't sit to one side more than the other when mounted.

So now I'm ready for WINTER!
