Good to know. It is a complete quad so hopefully I don't need much when all said and done.

Here's a great VIN Decoder as well. I thought I would share this.

The decoder helped me verify that she's a 2000 model.

Took apart the Rear Drum brake and cleaned it up. Removed the Cam as it was very nicely seized up. Used the rotary wire brush on it and applied some anti-seize. She moves very nicely now.

I also had the foot brakes being inop since the piece that holds the foot brake arm was snapped off and being held by zip ties. I can't have that, so I welded a large bolt that was just under the hole size of the foot brake arm. Then cut off the bolt enough to hold the arm and the piece that attaches to the foot peg.

Also welded up the brace that keeps the front fenders sturdy. I'll apply some rust restorer to all the welded pieces to keep them rust free.

Just bought a new battery off eBay, so when I am ready to fire up, I got the power.

Decided to take apart my Carb to soak in Berrymans Carb Cleaner while I wait for the rebuilt kit to arrive. It was the worst I've ever seen in the bowl area. Corrosion and some weird gel blob was in there. The float pin was the hardest to remove but shes soaking now.

That was a great call to remove the carb, that thing is nasty. Looks like a corroded battery terminal, lol.

Yeah, the material was very hard and chalky like a corroded battery. I checked the Berrymans Can and it's breaking down all the crap very nicely. I'll let it soak all next week and maybe rebuild it next weekend.

Here is the Carb Can i am speaking of:

Dunno, was a Craigslist Freebie. The PO said it belonged to his cousin in another state and was running before it sat for a years. A real shame to do this. No respect

Time permitting, I may be able to "try" and start it in a couple weeks.
