I am looking very hard a 92 Blaster project. It's basically a roller and the engine is completely wasted. Broken connecting rod some case damage. Had a big bore kit so the jug and head are toast as well. I am considering purchasing this for 200-250 but would like to keep the complete engine rebuild under 1,000 including the purchase price. This bike would be for my 11yr old son so a stock rebuild is on the board with mods as he grows. What are peoples opinions on this, I have looked at ebay and priced cases blown motors for rebuild top ends and all and I think it can be done. The chassis seems to be in pretty good shape.

what are some people recommendations / ideas? Anyone know of a used parts warehouse I could tap into if I buy it?
