My Blaster did the 100 yard drag in 6.47 seconds.
My cousin on his 2001 Scrambler 500 2x4 did the 100 yard drag in 5.81. Those magazines are full of crap one drag times. The 250 ex did the 100 yard drag in 10.3?

The guys that write about quads for a LIVING are always "full of crap". They NEVER have their information straight, their timing equipment is NEVER accurate, they ALWAYS print typos and EVERYONE on this forum has a faster machine that what the dealers supplied the writers. These are the simple facts of owning a quad.

IF you took the time to notice my Blaster is not stock. So yes my would be faster then the stock one. Are you trying to say you think it takes the 250ex 10.3 seconds to run 100 yards. Maybe I over did it maybe the magazines are just being conservative. The one magazine says it takes the scrambler 500 over nine seconds to get to 50.

Just out of curiosity, how did you time your run. I'm just wondering because I recently built a timing system. It consists of two sensors from Radio Shack wired into a stopwatch for accuracy up to the hundreths of a second. Right now it only works for runs up to 250 feet but I plan to up that to 1000 feet this summer (so that the system can be used with snowmobiles next winter). I am curious to find out how other people make these type of measurements. If you are using a hand held stop watch, you must have very quick reflexes if you think you can record your times to the hundreth of a second the way your comment claims.
