Default blaster bog

Just got a blaster.... it runs fine through 1-3rd then in 4th or higher it bogs .... I can't even take off in second gear I can't bud it studs and slowly gets speed.... The guy said it was just rebuilt... The gas that was in the bike when I got it is still in their its on reserve... I don't think it can be the gas though because it runs fine on 1-3 and higher it boggs .. If I'm going down a hill it goes fine.. Up a hill bogs and don't get out of the bog stage ... Flat it bogs and slowly gets to the top speed and power band and then when its maxed in that gear I shift and it boggs again.... Could it be a spark plug or what ....

You need to drain gas and clean carb really good and put all back together and put fresh gas in it.

Ya i did that... I took the lid off the airfilter and i though their was a pair of black ***** in stead of my airfilter, but then i blinked and i seen it was a airfilter. I cleaned the hell outa it..... The carb was actually clean. I drained the rest of the gas out of the carb.... I then put fresh gas in their.. It acted alot better. I think the problem was the air filter. But then again who knows.... The guy i got it from wired the throttle over the handle bars and i never noticed it. so I think it was loosing power. Cause i would turn the handlebars to the left and it would scream.. Turn them to the right and it would be fine. But we took the headlight off and rerouted it. And it acts fine but it bogs some.. Deff not as much as it did. Alot more power

When you checked your carb did you take jets out and clean some times dirt is in there and your needle clip should be in the middle slot. When you have all that of you should.note all your numbers down on a peace of paper and put in toolbox so you have it. And where are you from?
