Hey, I'm new here and I was wondering if a Blaster would be good for me. I am 14 and I have experience with Dirtbikes but I think an ATV would be much cooler. Would this be a good one to start with or is there something better? I would buy a used one around 99-00. Thanks

 

Hey Im 13 and my brother is 10. We are both going to be getting warriors. We have never had any quad,dirtbike,etc. It seems like it is fast but not to much power where we couldnt handle it. If you want speed,reverse, and reliability go with the warrior it is the best choice.
Still the blaster is an awesome quad a you will kick a lot of others quads *** with it if you mod it up good enuf. Blaster is a good choice. Ride it see if you like it.

 

I was considering the Warrior but it is too expensive for my budget.

 

A blaster is a good starter quad......but I pesonally woundn't go the 2-stroke route. But if your handy with engine rebuilds go for it. I had a 98 and it was a great little machine, kept up with warriors and 300ex's. Good luck!

I started out with a Blaster got a Banshee later. I still have the Blaster because I still have fun on it. Blasters haven't changed at all since the 90 model year. They are very easy to take care of and probably the best bargain of any quad.

 

I wish I would have kept my Blaster as a second quad.....that thing sure was fun for it's size!
