I joined this forum for info and direction. Some people would buy the manual. Some would suggest I buy the manual. If I was going to mod this quad, or if it were going to break often, I would probably do this.
I hope for your sake that your 11 yr old quad doesn't break often, but it is an 11 yr old quad. I was suggesting spending the 10 bucks on the service manual because it doesn't take long to make that money back if you can fix something yourself rather than take it to the shop at $80/hr. I was just thinking that if you were not able to locate the spark plug then probably the service manual was a nessecity. I can also tell you that buying a 10 dollar manual will probably be the cheapest of anything that you are going to do for/with this equipment! Good luck and enjoy your ride!

Thanks for the location.

Slinger2; I have a buddy who works for a Yamaha dealer. He's seen and sold new and used quads for years. From what he's seen, Yamahas really don't really break unless you are REALLY putting it through some serious abuse. Even if you get behind on maintenance, they still keep going strong.

Mine is 10 years old, but it was in great shape when I bought it, and I don't believe I'll be wrenching on it often. Sounds like I'll be getting a free manual if I'm wrong.
