I got a 03 Kodiak 4x4 that's over heating.... so I checked thermostat n gold peace in middle was bent ... so I left thermostat out n restarted n it an it was sitting still idling n it took long time for temp light to *** on so I'd rev it up n the light would go off.... I did this a couple of times n same result each time...... fan is working n I dohve fluid n no leaks..... plz help not sure wats wrong do u think it just thermostat or is it a deeper issue

 

I don't know about the Kodiak but on some quads the radiator fluid can get air locked. If this is the case just bleed the air out of the system.

 

Try Cleaning the Rad.
