its been gettin about the same, but im not sure because i havent really thought much abotu it till now, when the rpm's go up, the noise doesn't get louder or anyhthing so that good to know, so do you think its time for a new piston and all the stuff, its only a 99 blaster so its not old or anything

The blasters counter balancer does cause quite a bit of noise in the litter air cooled 2 stroke. If you here it when you rev it up and when the motor slows down it could just be the counter balancer. Nothing to worry about. The blaster motor is noiser than most also.

If you do a piston, bore and hone it for an OS piston. Cost will be little more, and you will have a fresh, round, true bore to which the rings will properly seat, and piston/wall clearance will be correct.

Try Powroll, as they use QUALITY pistons that can be fit closer minimizing slap/rocking etc resulting in a much better performing engine.
