Default 2001 Yamaha Wolverine

Hey guys and Gals I have a 2001 Yamaha wolverine that has been sitting for a while pulled the carb and cleaned it (after someone else had already been in there) seemed like everything was good. started it up and it idles fine touch the throttle and it back fires out of the carb and falls on its face! Someone please help me!! haha

Does it after it has gotten warm! Starts easy cold just as soon as I give it a little throttle it back fires through the carb and spits and sputters?? I'm at a loss!

Not what I asked. If it runs better on choke your carb is not letting enough fuel through when not on choke, so you still have a blocked jet, or someone has turned the jets down.

The other possibility is faulty elecrics, I once had a Honda 300 with this problem and it was the CDI, I had even tried a different carb as I was convinced it was fuel. Fit a new plug first though, could be faulty, and a lot cheaper than a new CDI.
