Default 2003 Yamaha Breeze 125 dies

OK guys I am a new member but I have been viewing the forums for years.

I have an 03 breeze. It starts right up and revs (choke on or off). I start to drive it and after 30 seconds to 1 minute it dies. I turn the choke on and can usually get it to start back up and run (poorly) and ride around a little more before it dies again. Sometimes it'll stay running for a while (5 minutes) but it feels very low on power and bogs when you hit the throttle hard. FYI when it dies I have jumped right under it and unscrewed the carb drain to check that it has fuel and it does.

I have replaced the ignition coil, plug, cleaned the carb 100 times and just put a complete carb rebuild kit in it. Still dies.

I've also adjusted the valves once.

I'm stumped, anyone have any ideas?

When it dies it is very sudden... I will be cruising down the driveway to the barn and it'll just cut right out like someone turning off a kill switch. It's not a gradual die down like when running out of fuel.

Sounds like an ignition part is failing when hot, to be honest, substitution is about the only way you will find it, so that means changing the trigger coil or the CDI. It is just possible a wire, or the ignition, or kill switch are faulty so check these first, but you can't tell if they are, unless you catch them when the fault is on.
