I took apart my blaster last week because ever since I bought it the kickstarter works, but doesnt return. No spring action it seemed, so I took it apart and checked it out, it looked ok. I went and bought a new spring anyways, my dad helped me put it in, there was a little hole inside that we hooked into to make it spring back, and it worked. So, I put it back together and it worked right for about a day and now it doesnt spring back again. It almost seems like theres a part missing or something. I have a manual and I checked it out and everything, I guess im going to take it apart again, but I was hoping someone might have some input on what is wrong...thanks a bunch.

As I recall the kickstarter won't return on it's own. You have to kick it then push it back in with your foot.

I think that it's the same set-up as the Banshee. There us a short spring, about 1/2" and a 7/64" (I think) ball bearing that go inside of the shaft the kickstarter mounts on. That sprin/ball bearing keep the kickstarter in and from flopping into the kick position. Also, there should be an O-ring at the base of the kickstarter that goes over the shaft and keeps the kickstarter from rattling and the grease in.dirt out. I hope this helps, it's hard to explain.

I know what you mean, but it should come back up to the kick position. Not go all the way in but if it doesnt start on the first kick it should come back to the position that you can kick it again. The problem is, it stays down and you have to pull it with your hand to kick again...help please..
