2008 Yamaha Grizzly 80 running bad
i recently bought this for my 8 yr old. It ran great when we bought it and the first day out my novice son got a little cocky and decided to try to crank the wheel sideways going too fast. Over he went with the grizzly, though the machine righted itself and took off! When I caught up to them the Grizzly was revving high. Not sure whats wrong but now it won't run unless choke is on and has no power and keeps fouling the plug. Any thoughts would be appreciated..I'm no mechanic but can follow instructions. Thanks alot for the imput..

I'd check that the carb is seated ok,if so I'd pull the carb, pull the float bowl and see if everything is clean, jets are clean and open and float is working good.Plus while you're at it check the air filter to see if it's not gas saturated.Funny things can happen to them when turned upside down.

Thanks Old Polaris Tech
Did all of the above and all looked good. Cleaned jets out and checked everything in the carburator. Air filter cleaned and oiled. it will idle without choke now but still tends to rev up on its own. Any other thoughts? It also tends to bog out or lose power at 3rd gear..
