Yfz 450 cant find vin

Default Yfz 450 cant find vin

I have a yfz 450 in peices the boy i got it from said it was a 2006 i want to know where the vin is so i can double check before i order parts

It would be on the left side of the frame....near the area in which the shifter would be.

Fasteratv i cant find it i looked and flipped it over and everything anyplace else it could be

Not that I know of. I have owned two of them. Someone may have ground off the VIN, then repainted the frame. In reality, I don't beleive it will make any diffierence in regards to ordering parts for it. Go with the 2006 that you mentioned, and you will rcv the correct parts.

There seems to be a mystery regarding Yamaha vin numbers, everyone says "lower frame tubes near your left foot" but I have come across two that don't have numbers there. Anyway, for ordering spares, dealers use code numbers from a white sticker on the frame, under the seat.
