Default Bear Tracker Help

Hello all, my first yamaha i picked up the other day, its a bear tracker 250 2000, it seems to run fine but when i took it out on my first ride with it today to get a feel for it i noticed my 2nd gear has a weird clunk sound, its consistent, 1 clunk per tire rotation, it will not do it in any other gear, i even feel a harder vibration through my feet on the footpegs when its in second. Any thoughts guys? is it just a chipped gear tooth, can i keep riding it? thanks!

Only way to find out is to get a good manual and tear it down. Here's a pdf link to one. Hope it helps.http://www.thequadconnection.com/Man...ice_Manual.pdf

Could be. Just have to eliminate one thing at a time.
