Unhappy Banshee spitting coolant

Hi, I just got a a banshee a couple days ago and after about 20 minutes of riding (not super hard riding..) the radiator starts dripping coolant out of the overflow onto my pipes and causing it to steam. The bike did not do this when I rode it for the first time, it was only after I topped off the rad with prestone 50/50. The previous owner said he ran engine ice in it, could mixing these 2 coolants cause a reaction of some sort making it boil? I also thought I possibly overfilled it with coolant so today I took some out and the steaming seemed to not be nearly as bad but it was still doing it. If I did just overfill it is it safe to run the bike and just let it spit out the excess coolant? The bike has no loss of power and the radiator gets warm so I would think my water pump is doing its job.

If anyone has had this issue before please let me know! Thanks

A stock Banshee has an over flow tank under the seat. Sometimes they get deleted and you get what you described. It will stop after the radiator get down a ways.
