Angry 03' Yamaha Bear Tracker 250 Issues

Howdy yall, I just recently bought a Yamaha Bear Tracker 250 for $98! It was completely flooded and the guy I purchased the bike off of tore apart the carburetor and stripped damn near all of the screws, most of wich I was able to replace except for the air fule mixture screw because it is sunken into the carb its self. so I went through the carb myself and cleaned and inspected it and all loks good on it so I put it on the bike and fire it up but it will only run at full choke and if I give it some throttle then it bogs down and dies. But wait there's more! the floats are moving the needle properly but for some reason when I shut off the bike it just keeps pouring fuel out of the carb. and it likes to backfire through the carb itself.UPDATE: The next day (Today) I go out to work on the bike and notice that I have fuel sitting in the airbox. If this car keeps giving me more and more issues I am seriously considering getting a replacement carb that is a different model. Any and all help is highly appreciated, I would like to get this carb back in running condition but if I cant please let me know how to properly measure a carburetor so I can begin looking for a different model carb that will still fit on the bike. sorry for the long post but there is obviously alot going on

You can always just buy something like this https://www.amazon.com/CARBURETOR-YA...250+carburetor
Its a lot less expensive than buying the Oem and finding a good used one might take a while.

Default Cash is tight

I have been looking around but the cheapest that I have found of the original carbs were $100 and the butterfly was stuck closed. Thanks though.
