Here is my question... I have heard of people taking off their e-brakes, BUT WHY? I don't see any advantage to taking it off, and although it is usually worthless there are times when it is nice to have. Anyone care to fill me in?
I'm still new to this crap.
Thanks.

Take it off cuz i have no use for it and to get rid of some of all that stuff on the handlebars and make more room.

Heck I don't have a clue how to do it... I usually don't figure things like that out until right AFTER I needed to know it.

Ok, here is how I did it. I took off the parking brake, the cable, and the parking break part off of the rear brake caliper. I also removed the switch cable that plugs into the perch on both ends, at the perch and at the end where it goes to the parking brake. I have no problems at all. I put a cr250 clutch perch on it and it also shifts much easier.
