Grizzly 660 Bent Frame "HELP"
Bent frame
Need some advices please. I have a 2003 Yamaha Grizzly 660, 7856k on it. Every thing works good on it. My girlfriend hit a tree. “hard” yes she’s ok a bit bruised. Is this fixable? Or worth fixing?. I can buy a frame for $550 and probably 20 hours labor $1500 to transfer everything.
Thanks!

We had a similar problem with a customer's 500 King Quad. He didn't want to claim on insurance so we tried to bend the frame back, took ages to get wheelbase etc, same on both sides, and the thing never steered right afterwards. If you can get a good frame for $550 go for it. I think your 20 hrs to swap everything may be optimistic.

Frame rig
you never know, maybe a body shop could do you some good. The newer frame rigs have tons of a adapters and fixtures that can be used. Some guys may like the challenge, don't listen to them if they just give you quick"no we can't" answer, ask around. If it works maybe you have room too add an extra X brace to frame for support

See if a body shop will straighten it out. Then look into getting a brace welded in. This vs. the cost and labor of a frame swap.
