Default Yamaha Kodiak 400 Kill switch Problem

Good Morning All, I have recently acquired a 2006 Yamaha Kodiak 400 atv, however there is a problem with the handle bar kill switch. the button works fine but the start/stop switch is loose and will not allow me to start the engine. I was wondering if anyone knows if there a fix that we can do or would we need to replace the whole thing? Thanks in advance!

replace the whole thing or you should be able to jimmy rig a toggle switch if you want to be that person

Thank you so much for your reply, we actually ended up taking the whole thing apart, and the spring behind the switch had rusted and broken to pieces, we cut a new piece of spring from an old ball point pen and replaced. works like brand new.
