2007 yamaha wolverine starting issue
hello, im working on a 2007 yamaha wolverine 450 all stock. it ran pretty good started right up idled fine bogged a little in the higher rpm range so i ordered a carb kit from western power sports it came with everything minus the emulsion tube so i replaced everything and it wouldnt start unless i held the "piston valve" open (the slide thing thats controlled by air with the needle in it) all the jets matched up with the stock jets i took out, i let the carb sit it carb cleaner goo for a couple days, adjusted float to 13mm, ive tried every needle position that i could, ive tried every fuel mixture (pilot screw) from all the way closed to open 3 turns, and when i change the starter jet with the main jet size (from 70 to 131.3) it runs fine down low. so the way i was seeing it im either starved of air somewhere ( blew out every orfice with compressed air also changed the 80 air jet) or the piston slide is not operating like it should. ive taken this carb apart 6 different times and have had different eyes look at it and still nothing so hopefully someone here knows whats wrong, thanks in advance
