Hi all. I am planning on modding my 2005 660 Raptor. I want to give it more power and speed, and a better ride. I have no idea what suspention stuff i want except to widen, extend swingarm, and lower the bike. Help with shocks and stuff is greatly appreciated.
As for the engin i generally know what i want, just need a bit more guidance.
I want to put a high compression piston in it, 13:1 maybe. Will i need a new rod and ignition system for that? I am going to run unifilters with no airbox lid, or use a hole saw and cut some holes in it. Should i keep the stock carb and just put new jets in it or go aftermarket carb, if aftermarket what carb should i get? I want a Sparks single exhaust system or a Monster Pipe dual system. what are the weak points of the engine, Ive heard second gear is weak.

Also, this hasnt been made clear to me yet. i have heard of putting a 700 head on a 660 but i do not know if its a direct bolt on swap or not. What is needed for that mod??
