Default Help with proper jetting

I just picked up a Blaster. Looks to be a 98 or 99 from the color scheme. The frames been powder coated, so no checking the 10th digit of the vin. It has a FMF Gold Series pipe, and a FMF Turbine Core 2 silencer. The oil injection is deleted, and a cone style filter coming straight off of the carb. The air box is not being used. I plan to do away with the filter, and hook up the air box though.

The previous owner said that he just replaced the top end. I wanted to be sure that the previous damage wasn't caused by not re-jetting after the piping and filter change. I went out and pulled the carb, and he has a 250 main in it now. I know that's too small, but I'm not sure what range to start with to get it right. I'm guessing 270-300, but idk.

Can anybody tell me where to start as far as proper jetting? My elevation is 761 ft.
