float height

hi guys, I am replacing the needle and seat in my 06 wolverine 450 and need to know what the float height needs to be.
thanks for your help

Typically you want the fuel level near the seam where the float bowl meets the carb.

This is a very good analogy. I have rebuilt several carbs and used it and never had a problem

Can the fuel level be checked simply with a clear fuel line from the drain pipe held vertically along the carb ?
The float level adjustment should accomplish the same thing.

Yes, turn fuel off.
run small clear line from drain and vertical along the center of seam

turn on fuel. You may gat some bubbles.

i then lower the fuel line a little at a time and watch the fuel level in the line comapared to the bowl seam.
