Default 92 big bear 350

I have a 92 big bear 350. I rebuilt a motor from an 87 for it. I switched the flywheel and stator from the 92 0nto the 87 for it to match up to the wiring harness. Well the motor runs great but I cannot get the push button start to work on it. I can get it to go by arking the solenoid posts. The handle bar lights all light up neutral reverse and oil lights. I have put a new solenoid on it and a couple other ones on it thinking its the problem still cannot get it to work. I have tried other switches on it for the push button and nothing. The fuse is good on it since the lights on the bars work. and have tested that. I have put a ohm meter on the wire harness from the solenoid. Had the meter set on 200 ohms and the reading came to 21 ohms when I press the start button. My ground is hooked up to the top of the motor cases. Ground is hooked to the shifter leaver for high low and reverse. Anyone have any ideas on what it can be? Posted this on Facebook site and had people reply to check earths and grounds. Could someone shed some tight on this please?

Most Yams have a very complex system of lock-outs for the starter, involving the neutral light circuit and the brake light circuit, using an extra relay and lots of wiring, my guess would be the fault is in there somewhere. Try to get a wiring diagram for it.

I have a service manual for it. kind of looking for a starting point. Wiring is the only thing on yamahas that gives me trouble.

Post the wiring diagram up on here, decent sized picture so we can make out what colour the wires are.
