Maybe you simply killed your battery. If you start it often, and don't ride much between...it will go bye bye. Can you still push start it?
My dad had a yamaha VMax1200 bike, and he had this similar problem. The stator (the stuff that makes electricty...not sure of the word), was right at the end of the crankshaft, and wasn't turning fast enough, unless you are riding highway. My dad usually rode in town, so every 2 weeks or so, he would charge the battery. It was said to be a common problem. I imagine him pushing the 300kgs beast tu jump start it. hehe.
