I bought a 96 250 timberwolf off a friend it runs great but its only electric start does anyone know what all I need to put a pull rope on it just incase my battery dies?theres is not one on it at all

 

Back when they were new I guess an accessory pull start would be available, either from Yamaha or aftermarket suppliers, but now, I doubt it. The pull start parts from a scrap 250 Yamaha engine could probably be made to fit. However the amount of work involved may be considerable. It would be easier to keep a spare battery. Make sure it is charged regularly though.
