So my brothers have had a moto 4 sitting at the shop for almost 10 years and it hasnt been ran since then. They just gave it to me and I'm fixing it up. At first it ran but awfully. I cleaned the carb, Tightened the brakes and throttle, and put a new fuel air pin in since it didnt have one and got the correct amount of fuel and air ratio. The ATV runs really good now. I checked the vin on the engine and it says 1986 yfm 225 but part of the vin is rusted off at exactly the 10th digit so I cant find what year it is?? Is there another way to find out?
also the only other issues is that it leaks gas out of the drain on the carb but I think that's cause I just didnt clean the float. I only need an air filter and oil filter but idk what exact year the atv is.

also I cant find a place that will sell an air filter that will ship by the end of this week
