Default Warrior engine case welding

I had my chain drop on my warrior and balled up at the front sprocket. Resulting in breaking off the holding mount for the chain guard. I was hoping that this could be welded. Anyone been able to successfully weld on these cases? Or should I just look for a used case?

I have had Honda cases successfully welded by TIG specialist welders. Also think I would be finding an alternative way of mounting the guard before looking for a used case.

Unfortunately the mount broke in a way that it compromised the case with a hole. Good to know it can be welded. Thanks for the input.

I have a warrior same thing someone used epoxy to cover a hole the size of a quarter but they did a good job it doesn't leak . I've since used my dremel to make it look more even and natural but so far no problem in its been on there a long time .... My advice try it you aren't outta much if it doesn't hold ... Just make sure that area isn't smooth & the epoxy has something to really bond with ... The guy used some 2 part that was made for Anthony crane where he worked at some point .... Im sure theres gotta be good epoxy possibly grainger ? ... Good luck
