Default 1994 Kodiak Wet Centrifugal Clutch - No Parts

I am having a hard time finding a Wet Centrifugal clutch for a 1994 Kodiak 400. Part number 4GB-16620-02-00 has been discontinued and I don't see an aftermarket one available. Seems 1998 and up they are available from Ebay but not in the 1994. What is the difference? Can the shoes and springs be moved to my carrier from a newer style?

I was told by a Suzuki/Honda dealership mechanic that the whole industry used only two or three different shoes and that Honda shoes would fit other makes. Why Honda? They sell the shoes separately, so a hell of a lot cheaper than buying the whole thing. Don't know if it is true, or which Honda shoes would fit a 400 Kodiak if it is. Take a look at these, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Clutch-Ce...0AAOSwE0Beslba could be worth a go if they look exactly the same as your shoes.

Thank You. I have decided to put this thing back together the way it is and buy a new Kodiak. I have owned this thing for around 15 years and I guess its time to move on. Its too bad but I don't have the time and desire to deal with an obsolete machine.
