OK, I will check the inlet manifold this weekend. Here's hoping it is cracked! BTW Thanks for all your guidance so far!

 

So it definitely was not cracked. However, I didn't look to closely but I don't believe there was a gasket to the carb. Or perhaps the gasket is old and almost non-existent. I am having issues finding a part number for if there is a gasket there or not. The o-ring on the engine side was good though. I suppose the lack of a gasket could be just like a cracked manifold?

EDIT: Just looked at the diagram, there is an o-ring on the carb side too. Not sure how I missed that. I will check that again next weekend. Getting different quads mixed up
