A friend has a '94 250 4x4 that won't idle or run good after it gets hot. i've heard that they are recommending putting fans on the motor. Is this the only fix or are there other problems with the machine? It fouls plugs real easy.

 

I'd clean the carb, make sure it was adjusted to spec, and totally drain and dry the tank. I'd also clean the air filter, for starters. I assume it's a fuel delivery problem.
