Does anyone know what this part is and where it goes.
I had to take the engine out so I had disconnected the front and rear differential shafts and I also did a top end while I had the engine out. Ive reassembled the engine completely and I have this spiral gear left over that I can't find in any parts diagram.

 

Looks like the speedo drive to me.

 

Damn bro, you are right. I forgot I took it off the side of the engine to get the motor out. Thank you
