First mod was the Mudbugs, good investment. Next was the K&N filter and jet kit, this made a noticable difference in power. Turns the bigger tires no problems.

Go with a new clutch kit...put a Grizzly clutch in mine, works great on low end. A rejet and pipe would definately add some zip to it. Am putting 1 1/2 inch spacers all the way around to give mine some stability. Was going to put some 26 or 27 inch tires on it, but I picked up some once used 25 inch Vampires for $40 apiece...friend tore the back end out of his polaris, so he ditched the tiresgood for me!!!!

Best mod I made to the Kodiak was putting on the Goodyear Mudrunners. Second best mod I made has putting a snorkel on for the carb. Since I LOVE to night ride, I put on directional lighting for the handlebars, which is a must.

Since you have larger tires on it, you'll definitely will want a clutch kit. You see a difference right away.

Check out http://www.highlifter.com/store/ for the pipe and clutch kit. You might be able to get it cheaper elsewhere, but you can at least get the part #'s. Highlifter is real good about answering questions. so give them a call. A friend of a friend put my clutch kit on, so can't help you with how difficult it was.

The hardest part about installing the clutch kit is getting that one clutch nut off due to the free spinning of the clutch. This is easily overcome though with an impact. I personally think the price of the clutch kit is outrageous. All it consists of is stainless steel tubing cut to the appropriate lengths. If I had it to do over again, I would of made my own....On the bright side, you WILL see a noticeable difference once the clutch kit is installed.
