Default Banshee compression issue

I got an 87 banshee it has 65.50 Pistons and the compression was down to 75lbs each side so had it honed and got new rings. Now I got about 90 in both. I know it shouldn't run well like this but it's a little hesitant off the line but runs great other than that. How is this possible?

Although the gas flow systems on modern two strokes did manage to up compression, the fact is you loose half the compression stroke as the ports are open, so you are never going to get diesel like ratios on a two stroke. I don't know the Banshee, but Suz LT80s run OK on 90 psi, much lower, and they get bad to start.

Install a cool head. You can then change the domes and get the compression you want.
