My 2001 wolverine was working good the last I had it out. This last time I took it around the yard and about half way around I heard some clunks and not it's bound up when trying to go forward. It will how ever go in reverse. When in 1st it will not move, it is in gear but just bound up to the point that the engine will not make it move. Is it a trans issue or something in the rear? Looking for a little direction before I begin tearing it apart. Thanks!

 

Could be anywhere but will it roll forwards and backwards when in neutral? If it rolls OK, this would point to it being a gearbox problem, though bevel gears can wind themselves in or out of mesh if the bearings are shot so this isn't a 100% accurate test.
