Default Yamaha wolverine 350 4x4 issue turning over

Hello everyone, so I have a wolverine 350 and the issue I'm having was found when I did my valve adjustments earlier today and as I turned the engine over by the flywheel I noticed that their was a spot of resistance even with the plug out. Almost sounded like the cam became tight in some way, anyone else have a similar issue?

The valve springs have to be compressed by the cam, so yes, there will be resistance from the valve springs when you turn the engine. Also the crank balancer is to counteract forces from the piston and co rod, it will seem to make an engine more unbalanced when turning slowly by hand.
