1999 kodiak 400 carburetor
#1
I have a 1999 kodiak 400 that is having carburetor issues. I needed to adjust the pilot screw but the head is stripped out. I've tried screw removers and they aren't working. Does anyone have any tips on getting the screw out or where I can find a good replacement carburetor?

If it has worked for 24 years with the screw where it was set at the factory, why would it suddenly need adjusting? Answer, it wouldn't, unless the altitude you are using it at has changed dramatically. Look elsewhere for the fault. I remove the jets and blow them and the holes they came from out with compressed air. This works in 99% of cases.
