Banshee shocks on Blaster
#1
I know that only banshee front shocks will fit on a Blaster. So will these fronts bolt right up with no problem? I can get them for fairly cheap but was wondering how much you would be willing to pay for 2 more inches of travel. Are they worth the money or should I just save a few hundred more over summer and get works or tcs? Thanks for any replies!!

What kind of banshee shocks are they? Are they stock or are they aftermarket. If they are stock I wouldn't waste your time with them. They do bolt up ok though. You would probably be better off to save your money and buy some works or tcs depending on how rich you feel. I personally have a set of works double rate with no reseviors and they work great. They are about $250-$300 a set. It is a great improvement. I have an extra set I may sell. IF you do get a set of shocks for the front you probably want to get a back shock also. Having aftermarket shocks all around will make your blaster ride like a cadillac compared to stock. I know it made me a lot faster on the track.

When I bought new shocks for the banshee..I tried to put the stock banshee shocks on the blaster. Your right, they bolt right up. But because of the stock length of the a-arms on the blaster. The banshee suspension made the front end very stiff. Sure it will handle the jumps a bit better...But the ride actually became more ruff at slow speeds than with the stock blaster suspension.
I still have the stock banshee shocks if your stuck to go this way. I would save your money...and along with new shocks...get extended arms too.... you will love it.
