I am going to buy a set of T-5's. What is the diff
between the chrome and unpainted? My buddy says
save the $120 because they turn blue anyway.
I have a 2001 stock Shee and what kind of jetting
will I need? Needles? I live at 2000 feet. I also
don't want to put any holes in my airbox or take off the snorkel because I ride in mud,snow, water etc. Thanks for the help.

 

personally i love the chrome better. the unpainted ones will rust if you dont paint them or spray WD-40 on it after every ride to prevent the rust. my chrome T5's havn't turned blue yet and i've had them for about 10 months already. you should order the jet kit that comes along with the pipes. it has 270 and 280 mains new needles and new clips. you will probably use 270 mains if you dont take the snorkel off or use the vents. if your doing a lot of mud riding you may just want to get them unpainted. hope this helps.
