Anyone know how to remove the YAMAHA lettering from the seat ? ( And no I do not want to buy a new seat cover ) I have seen it done on MuZ's but do not know what chemical was used. Thanks.

I`ve used laquer thinner or Brake clean (not the bidegradable stuff). One of these has taken the letters of everything I`ve had. Just put some kind of vinyl protectant on when your done.

Thanks Jason.. The laquer thinner worked great. And, have you ever ridden at "Bower's Pit" just outside of Norhtfield ? I rode there a few weeks ago on a visit to Burnsviile and it was great. Can't remember just where it was, but it was just a short drive South of Northfield on either #20 or #21. Thanks again..

If thats the pit where there is a huge rickity barn on the one end YES. Is this the pit your talking about? If not I`m always looking for a new place. Did you trailer up here or do you have friends here? I couldent imagine coming this far just for that pit.

Bower's Pit...( Could be Bauer's ) Go South through Northfield to City # 20 and turn left. Go approx. 3 -4 miles to the intersecton of # 20 and # 29 Turn left on # 29.. Go 1/2 mile ( or so ) to the pit entrance and turn right. There is a $30.00 per bike fee for an ID Sticker, Families can buy two ID sticker and use more than two bikes. ENJOY.. It is fun place. 4WD drive trucks require one sticker per truck.
