I say get it. To answer a couple of your questions: Pre-mix is so simple and quick that a child could do it in his (or her) sleep. Yes, 16 oz to 4 gallons will give you a 32:1 ratio which is just right and will ensure your engine lasts a long time. Don't run it lean and use good oil and top end rebuilds will not happen that often. I don't know how often but my banshee is 2 years old with a LOT of sand duning miles and there is no sign of compression loss. You can beat the holly heck out of it and it will hold up fine; the engine at least. The rest of it is strong as well but the engine is nearly indestructable. It will take you anywhere you want to go as long as you set it up correctly. Not as good as a 4 stroke in the woods but they can do fine. Get a pipe, and better air filter set-up and maybe a 13 tooth front sprocket (for the woods) and you'll be all set to kick butt.

Hey, thanks for all the posts you guys.
The kind of riding I do is trail riding. NOT real slow riding, climbing steep muddy hills and all that "4x4" stuff most "woods" riders do.
Me and my riding partners (Warriors, 400exs, Banshees, couple Polaris's, some 4x4's, yz426f, yz250, and a cr250) just cruise through trails, get a couple jumps, and all that, and a couple hill climbs, just having fun.
I have seen 2 Raptors riding through the woods. One guy had a Warrior riding with him, which was having a hard time catching up, heh heh.
I'm not ******* up on 4 strokes or anything, I just like 2 strokes more than the 4-strokes.

Samson..
I want to add something here... you stated "Also 2-strokes are very reliable until you start doing port jobs on them, then you can have probs breaking rings. Warriors are very reliable because its a low hp motor. If you look at the yz 426 and other high hp 4-strokes, you will notice that they will require a lot of maintanence"
My $.02 on your comment:
My Banshee blew up 2 tops ends BEFORE I ported or polished or big bored it, *I* still believe 2 stroke rings going over the open ports leads to more bent/snaped rings than a 4 stroke smooth cylinder. As far as the warrior being a low hp motor, I agree 100% with that statement, I also agree that the 426yzf motor is a higher hp motor. But I'm going to say that the 660 is a LOW hp motor for it's displacement. 660cc only cranking out 38 stock horse is very low, the same motor in europian street bikes puts out over 65 hp stock. A car motor can make 150hp, but thats not considered a high HP motor cause of the bigger displacement. Any time you push a motor for more horse power out of a smaller displacement, you tend to get less reliablity. The raptor has a really low compression, in turn having less stress on internal compents which also tends to lead to longer engine life.
I personally feel the raptor is so underperformanced that the motor is going to run a long long time, but I could be wrong.
Just throwing in my $.02 on the entire thing...

Yea, Im still around talkin smack... As far as my mains, I am runnng 230's after tonight, I have been running 240's, but I am riding at 6000-8500 feet. When I was in California, I ran 320's. I Cant wait to get away for 4 days this Memorial day weekend, its my birthday as well, so it is usually a great time. Anyhow, Take it easy and let me know how those pipes work out for you...

Don't even think twice about not getting the banshee. It's the best bike ever made. All the complaints about people saying "no low end" that just takes work. For just getting the banshee the set up is fine, I don't know if this is your first bike or not. Once you get used to it get pipes and so on. My banshee is wildly ported, and i have every extra goody you can by. I have to much low end i have lean way over my bars to keep from fliping back, and still stand it straight up. And i loved how the new raptor owners came to the track thinking they were big and bad, and i could almost half track them. but that's beside the point. The banshee is a great bike, never been disappointed. Just make sure you check your plugs often, don't want to be too lean or too fat, want to be right in between. *Ride hard and ride fast*

Don't listen to these guys about the mixing stuff.. all you have to do, is get a $6 Ratio-Rite from Dennis Kirk, mix it 32:1, and ride the wheels off. On the Ratio-Rite, you can look up the amount of gas you are going to get, then go down until you see the line that says 32:1, fill the Mixer up to that line, dump it in the tank, fill it up with gas.. shake it, and haul @$$ later
