I have an old '78 IT400 motorcycle. It is a 400cc 2-Stroke. It has tons of power and runs good. I want to take the engine out of the bike and put it in a quad frame. What frame would this fit into? Or would I have to get one custom made? This would be a sweet ride if I could find a frame to fit and make it all work right. Thanks.

I have heard that the only engines that will make GOOD quads have counter-balancers, I dunno if yours does??? I guess if you use one without it will shake like crazy?? Worth looking into..

Is it liquid cooled or air-cooled?

It's air cooled. The engine was rebuilt last year.
