Answers to Blowing Carbs by 4 Dealers

Dealer #1. Set the idle speed up but it may still backfire and blow them off again.
Dealer #2. Boots are too tight.
Dealer #3. Put on automotive type clamps.
Dealer #4. Yamaha will replace the boots, even if it is out of warranty, but it will take at least 3 weeks, so see if you can find another dealer that can do it.

A friend of mine is a tech at a yamaha dealer and he has found one thing for sure that causes the carbs to blow off. When you put the seat on the bike you have to make sure that the plastic guide on the bottom of the seat does not pinch the rubber breather hose that attaches to both carbs then "horseshoes" up right below the tank mount.
He has seen at least two bikes that this was the cause so far.
mine has not done it since the addition of a full pipe, jetting and bumping up the idle a bit.
