Well i had enough of waiting for the Prairie650, i went down to tousleymotorsports today, and the salesman said they had a raptor in the warehouse, it is in my garage right now, i love it too,

How are they for break in, do i have to do exactly as the manual says? what would be the first mod i should put on, i probably will wait a month or so then do it, but what is the best, i think a pipe and k&n filter, but any help on what pipe is the best, i suppose i will have to go and look through my old magazines, i havent been paying attention to Raptor stuff because i was going to get another 4X4, may i will get the new yammie 4X4, the prairie doesnt seem to be in any hurry to get here,

Unless you only plan to drag race and go in a straight line only, your first mod should be a Lonestar axle. It will allow you to adjust your back end out about even with the front. As it stands now, you have more power than the stock width will let you take advantage of.

i noticed that, it seems to go up on its side kind of when turning sharp, but i also havent really ridden a sport atv for a few years, so it might be my riding, how much does that cost?

Just curious, but what would make you give up on the Prairie and go with a Raptor? They are 2 completely different animals!

Also, I'm not sure what the problem is in your part of the country, but my local dealer has had the new Prairie 650 for 2-3 weeks already. I test rode it and it was defiantly a MUST HAVE!

Enjoy the Raptor, they're a lot of fun.

I wanted to have either a great big 4x4 or a fast atv, i wanted a raptor but couldnt get one, so when i got sick of waiting for the 650 and had a chance to get a raptor without waiting i took it, i like riding both kinds of atvs i have fun with both, and probably next spring or this fall i will get another atv anyway, so at that time i will just pick between whatever big 4x4's come out this summer, or i may just get a smaller 4x4 this summer that my wife can ride also, something with automatic and still at least with enough power to have fun on, but now i got my raptor so i can use that for fun
