I had left my key on all night, (winch on) and ran my battery down. Ever since, after recharging, my winch works half the time. Sometimes when I turn the key on, the solinoid (spelling?), doesn't click and the winch doesn't work till I jiggle the solinoid and wires which are all tight. Then it will click when I turn the key on and the winch works fine. I'm afraid the solinoid got too hot when left on all night or maybe battery is not full. The bike starts and runs fine. Any insight appreciated...

Just means your solenoid is going bad.
